As a secondary teacher in a Technology center I get plenty of practice speaking in front of people, however; it is different in an auditorium filled wtih strangers! When I have a speaking engagement where I don´t know my audience, I´ll practice by talking about my topic to everyone who will listen This accomplishes a couple of things. The more that I talk about the topic, the more comfortable I get with it. It empowers me to project confidence and it gives me others perspective. My advice: Practice, practice, practice!
